Four OFSTED Inspections, Four Successes
This summer at Super Star Sport has been nothing short of incredible. Over just a few weeks we welcomed four separate OFSTED inspections across our provisions. Each one put our systems, safeguarding, and delivery under the closest examination. The result was four successful inspections, passed back to back.

I am extremely proud to share this achievement. To receive consistent recognition from OFSTED is not just a tick in a box. It is a reflection of the values, professionalism and dedication that our team brings to children and families every single day.
Why four inspections?
Some people have asked why we had so many inspections in such a short space of time. The answer lies in the scale of what we do. We hold a large number of registrations across multiple local authorities and settings. Each registration is subject to OFSTED’s independent scrutiny. That means we are inspected more often than most providers in our sector.
Far from seeing that as a burden, I see it as a huge strength. Every inspection is an opportunity to show that our work is consistent, that our standards are high, and that our systems are robust. Passing four in a row is evidence that we are not just compliant but confident in everything we do.
Going above and beyond
At some of our settings, OFSTED registration is not even a requirement. For example, within the voluntary childcare register, providers do not need to register in certain circumstances. Yet we choose to register anyway. Why? Because we want to hold ourselves accountable to the highest possible standards. By registering voluntarily we invite OFSTED to examine us, to challenge us, and ultimately to confirm that the care and education we provide is of a very high quality.
This is a deliberate choice. It would be easier not to register. It would involve less paperwork, less preparation, and fewer inspections. But it would also mean fewer opportunities to prove ourselves and fewer assurances for parents and schools. At Super Star Sport we believe accountability matters. We want every parent, every school and every child to know that we are meeting and exceeding the national standards that OFSTED set.

What OFSTED had to say
The inspections were rigorous, covering everything from safeguarding and compliance to staff knowledge and quality of provision. In Enfield, one inspector went out of their way to highlight just how knowledgeable our staff are. They praised our seven step safeguarding process, describing it as exceptional.
Safeguarding is at the heart of everything we do, so to receive that recognition directly from an inspector was a proud moment for us. Our seven step process ensures that every concern is spotted, communicated, logged, planned, shared, acted upon, and followed up. It is clear, practical and effective. To hear it described as a model of best practice was hugely rewarding.
OFSTED by the numbers
OFSTED is responsible for inspecting and regulating over 50,000 childcare and education providers across England. Their role is to make sure children are safe, well cared for and receiving the quality of provision they deserve. Not every inspection goes smoothly. In fact, the latest OFSTED annual report shows that not all providers achieve a compliant outcome first time.
That is why achieving four passed inspections in quick succession is such a significant milestone for us. It means we are not just meeting the minimum. We are consistently performing at a high level across multiple sites, under different inspectors, and within different local authority frameworks.
A team effort
I want to end this blog by saying thank you to the people who made this possible. Our coaches, our managers, our operations team and everyone behind the scenes who prepares, delivers and reviews what we do. Inspections can be stressful. They can feel intrusive. But our team rose to the challenge with confidence, professionalism and energy.
To have four inspections and four successes in one summer is something special. It shows that our systems are strong, our staff are knowledgeable, and our safeguarding is effective. Most importantly, it shows that the children in our care are safe, supported and given the very best experiences.

Looking ahead
We will not stop here. OFSTED inspections are an important measure of quality, but for us they are also a reminder that we should keep raising the bar. We want to set the standard in children’s sports coaching and wraparound care. Passing four inspections is proof that we are on the right path, and I could not be prouder to lead this organisation into the future.
Thank you to every parent, school and partner who puts their trust in us. And thank you once again to our brilliant team. Four inspections, four successes, one very strong team!
