A Day to Remember, Careers Day with Super Star Sport

At Super Star Sport, we believe in inspiring the next generation, not just through physical activity, but through real-life stories that motivate, educate and energise young people.
That’s exactly what happened when our Network Director, Billy Densham, was invited to speak at Debden Park High School for their Careers Day Assembly and Fayre.

The Assembly – More Than Just Sport

Billy took to the stage to deliver a high-energy, honest and inspiring talk about his journey, from coach to company director, sharing insights about:

– Working in the sports and education sector
– Building a business in children’s coaching
– Why sport, exercise, and teamwork matter more than ever
– Tips for students considering careers in PE, sport or coaching

His message was clear: there are real, rewarding opportunities in this industry, and with passion, consistency, and a bit of courage, young people can turn what they love into a future career.

The Careers Fayre – Engaging with Hundreds of Students
After the assembly, Billy spent the day meeting hundreds of students, answering questions about career paths in sport, coaching, fitness and more.

There were brilliant conversations about:
– What it’s like to be a coach
– How to get started in the industry
– The different routes into work, from apprenticeships to university, and even starting your own business
– The impact sport has on children’s lives, and the importance of role models
– The energy was electric, and students left buzzing with ideas and enthusiasm.
