Super Star Sport Joins the School-Aged Childcare Association (SACA)
By Angelo Ciccarelli, Founder of Super Star Sport
I am really pleased to share that Super Star Sport has officially joined the School-Aged Childcare Association (SACA). This is an important step forward for us as an organisation and reflects our ongoing commitment to raising standards across the school-aged childcare and children’s sports coaching sector.

At Super Star Sport, our mission has always been clear: to give every child the opportunity to develop a lifelong love for physical activity through fun, engaging, and inclusive sports experiences. We believe in creating environments where children feel safe, inspired, and valued. When we discovered the work SACA were doing to represent and strengthen this sector, we immediately recognised how closely our values align.
SACA exists to advocate for quality, professional standards, and collaboration across organisations providing school-aged childcare. They are helping to shape the future of the industry by ensuring that wraparound care is not seen as an afterthought, but as a vital part of a child’s development, family life, and educational journey. That is something we fully believe in at Super Star Sport.
For us, joining SACA is not just about being part of an association. It is about standing alongside others who share our passion and vision. As a company that delivers before-school, after-school, and holiday childcare across the country, we see every day the difference high-quality provision makes to children’s lives. We know how important it is to provide consistency, professionalism, and care that parents can trust. SACA’s focus on improving outcomes, supporting staff development, and raising awareness of the impact of quality childcare fits perfectly with our approach.
Our coaches, coach support officers, and franchisees across the UK take great pride in delivering sessions that go beyond sport. Every activity we run is designed to build confidence, encourage teamwork, and support children’s overall wellbeing. That focus on holistic development is one of the key reasons we wanted to join SACA, because we believe that every child, regardless of background or ability, deserves the best possible start through positive early experiences.
We also see this as the beginning of a wider movement. By joining organisations like SACA, we hope to play an active role in raising the bar for the whole sector, sharing best practice, learning from others, and helping to set consistent national standards. Collaboration is the key to meaningful progress, and we are committed to doing our part to help the industry move forward together.
As we look ahead, Super Star Sport will continue to seek out partnerships and memberships with other like-minded organisations that share our belief in the power of sport, play, and safe provision. We are proud to be part of SACA and excited about what lies ahead as we work together to make a lasting difference for children, families, and schools across the country.
This is another step in our journey to ensure that Super Star Sport is not just delivering sessions, but shaping futures.
