Each month we celebrate one of our outstanding team members who has gone above and beyond in their role. For August 2025, our Coach of the Month is Jack Roche from Super Star Sport Essex.

Raising Standards in Primary School PE and PPA Cover

Jack has become well-known across the network for his commitment to delivering the very best in Primary School PE support and PPA cover. Schools that work with Jack regularly praise his ability to engage every child, manage behaviour positively, and ensure PE lessons are active, inclusive, and fun. His attention to detail ensures that teachers have confidence that their classes are being delivered to the highest standard while they receive valuable PPA time.

Expertise in Nursery and Early Years Sports Coaching

Alongside his fantastic school work, Jack also excels in nursery sports coaching and early years physical activity. He understands how important movement is for young children and has a natural ability to make sessions fun, safe, and developmentally appropriate. Nurseries across Essex have benefited from Jack’s energy and enthusiasm, with children developing vital motor skills and a lifelong love of being active.

Going Above and Beyond at Camps

This summer, Jack showed exactly why he stands out. He stepped in at short notice to support one of our holiday camps, bringing his leadership skills to the forefront. Within just two days he had turned the camp around, creating a positive atmosphere, lifting standards, and ensuring every child enjoyed an unforgettable experience.
