Free Girls’ Rugby Classes for Primary Schools Nationwide

Following the incredible success of England’s Red Roses, we’re giving schools the chance to bring that same inspiration into their playgrounds. Our aim is simple: to help children stay fit, active, healthy — and smiling through sport.

We are proud to launch a nationwide programme of 25 fully funded girls’ rugby classes in every Super Star Sport area. That’s a total of 700 primary schools across the UK set to benefit.

What’s included
The first 25 primary schools in each location can book their free rugby sessions, designed to make sport fun, inclusive and safe.
Girls’ rugby classes at lunchtime (no disruption to lessons)
Certificates for every child who takes part
– Delivered by enthusiastic, DBS-checked coaches with safeguarding at the heart of every session
– Activities adapted for different ages and abilities
– No previous rugby experience required — just enthusiasm!

Why this matters for schools
Inspiration from the Red Roses: Capitalise on the momentum of women’s rugby and give pupils a chance to play.
Active, Healthy Lifestyles: Support the government’s PE and school sport goals.
Positive Impact: Boost confidence, teamwork and participation for girls in sport.
Easy for Teachers: We provide all equipment, planning and delivery — schools just provide the space.

How it works

  1. Register your interest by completing the form on this page.
  2. If you’re in the first 25 schools in your area, we will be in touch to confirm your place.
  3. We’ll share safeguarding details and complete a quick risk assessment.
  4. Our coach team arrives, delivers, and gets children smiling.
  5. Pupils leave with certificates and a love for being active.

Safety & Quality – Our Promise
– All coaches are fully trained, DBS-checked and insured.
